Hello. I have noticed that ElementsKit overrides Elementors href link color. Every accordion, tabs, sub menu links, footer links, contact form drop-down link got switched to #fffff hex color. The website I’m working on has a white background, rendering certain elements with titles with links invisible.

I tried to turn off all widgets, except header and footer builder, still the same issue. Turned off all widgets, and the colors from Elementor’s color settings returned, but now I’m without a header and a footer.
I have no other option than to look for a new plugin to fix my “no header and footer” issue instantly.
Why can this be happening? How does the Header and Footer builder break other elements?
Making a new header did not fix the issue either.

I was a bit too quick to write here, because my whole site is a mess. ElementsKit certainly roughed up some plugins, but it’s not only ElementsKit that is messing with my page. If I change color with Royal Addons (say off-canvas menu with the code: (a { color: #000000 {), it changes the color of titles everywhere on the page. Think my problem is more deep-rooted than just ElementsKit tbf.

    Hi tottoholm,

Thank you for reaching out. To help resolve the issue, could you please provide your website URL and system information?

If you’re working in a local environment, kindly share your system details and a relevant screencast video. This will make it easier for us to provide an accurate solution.

In the meantime, I recommend running a conflict test to identify the specific cause of the issue. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Switch Theme: Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty or Hello Elementor.
    2. Deactivate Plugins: Deactivate all plugins except Elementor and ElementsKit.
    3. Reactivate Plugins: Reactivate your plugins one by one, checking the site after each activation to identify any conflicts.
    4. Regenerate CSS: After identifying the conflicting plugin, try regenerating the CSS by going to Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to assisting you further.
