It probably depends on a stylesheet that is not included in the AMP version.

I suggest trying 1.0-beta3 and switching from Classic (the mode you’re in) to the new Paired mode. In this mode, your active theme’s templates and stylesheets will be re-used in AMP.

Otherwise, If you look at the page source you’ll see an HTML comment that contains information about what CSS is being included. It will also indicate if CSS is being excluded because it is going over the 50KB limit after tree shaking.

For the 500 error, can you look at the PHP error log to find out what is causing it?
