Elementor’s Countdown Widget

  • Hi,

    Had an issue with Elementor’s Counter widget with Generate Press. Reported this issue to Elementor team but managed to identify that the Counter Widget does not show the countdown due to theme’s compatibility.

    When I switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme, the countdown will show but not on GeneratePress.

    In your GP child theme you’re making a call to scripts.js. You’ll want to comment out that line until you launch your website.

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for the solution. If I were to do that, that will stop the sticky navbar from functioning. Any workaround for that?

    Once you remove the maintenance mode, you can re-add it.

    That JS you’re using doesn’t make sure the navigation exists before firing, so if the navigation doesn’t exist, it causes a JS error.
