Elementor WordPress Elements/Widgets – Drag & Drop Broken?

I am unsure how to display the listings that I have created, on my landing page.

Generally with Elementor it is a case of drop a new element/widget into the space within the dash lines, and something cool will happen.

With this plugin, some unexpected things are happening when I drag the various ERE elements/widgets over.

Firstly, nothing (or not much depending on the selected widget) is showing during editing. It is only when I update the page and view it as a website that I can see the listings, and even then, the listings are not what I expected. It’s not clean or dynamic it is all rather crude looking, and the listings are giant.

Is there a way to fix this? Is there something I am doing wrong, or have failed to fix at the back end?

I have a neat real estate template where the demo listings look quite nice but am unable to replicate that with the actual listings I have created.

PS ERE is way better than Estatik – that plugin made elementor extraordinarily slow
