Elementor with OceanWP not loading

Hello,

please go to Settings > Permalinks, select the plain permalink structure, Save Changes. For instance, now select again your previous permalink structure, save changes, and check.

Trying to fix this since days….

That is quite odd, Please disable all the plugins except elementor and switch to the parent theme and check if it is working or facing the same issue.

Hi @abhikr781 thanks for your answer. I did a lot of troubleshooting and unfortunately it is a JS which I need for the site.

I use a plugin to load it on the front-end only but it is still not working. As soon as this script is used, the Elementor does not load anymore…

It used to work until about 5 months ago when it stopped.

Hi @abhikr781 did some more troubleshooting, it works with the Astra theme using Elementor.
Strange enough the JS code works with WP Ocean on an other server (different Hosting Company). So there is some JS that is messing up on the server.
And it worked up until about 4 months ago but as we did not need to make text changes we did not notice earlier….
Any idea?
If not I will have to switch themes which is not something I want to….

I can understand your concern but I have checked the theme with elementor and it is working fine on my end. I don’t know why it is not working on your site, maybe I’m unable to replicate create the scenario which you have on your site. Since our support is limited here, we can’t provide support above a specific limit and wp forum guidelines.

If possible open a ticket at the helpdesk, so we can try to take a closure look into the issue.

You can open a ticket in prepurchase.
Try to switch to the parent theme and check if it is working or facing the same issue.
Because support is limited here, I can only suggest you the troubleshooting steps.

Hey @abhikr781 it does happen with the parent theme. But it does not happen with the same settings on another server…. ?? Do you think you can help? Must be a JS conflict…

A new version of the theme and Ocean extra plugin has been released.
Kindly try to update the theme and plugin to the latest version and check.

And If it is working with the parent theme then there could be some issue with the custom codes if you have added any.

Are you using the official child theme or created with any plugin?
It seems some issue with your child theme because it’s working fine with the parent theme.

Hey @abhikr781 I am using the official child theme. And it is NOT working with the parent theme. It works with the Astra Theme.
However it works on an other server….. But I can not move hosting and my customer is on a shared server.
It must be some JS issue.
Very difficult to trouble shoot I guess.
But I know for sure that it worked up to about 5 months ago….
