Elementor: Two Columns turn to Three :(

Hello friends,

When I was designing this page, everything looked good. After clicking publish, the sections with two columns now appear to have a third invisible column (at least that’s how it appears to a novice like myself). You’ll notice how there’s always a large white gap between the photo and text, or to the side of one or the other. I go back into Elementor and can’t find anything wrong with the section or two columns.

Any ideas on what may be causing this?
