Elementor Text Editor Font

Hello!
i am using this theme; colormag, with elementor.
i am facing an issue as the text-editor widget’s font settings don’t work when using this theme. all other widgets work fine, but text-editor doesn’t.
i have tried re-setting the theme to a default wordpress theme, and then the font family/size changes just fine.
i have tested this on a localhost site too, and same problem occured, and the same theme change fix worked. what can i do about this?
