I’ve created a page template in Elementor, then assigned it to MPG project as template, but all pages generated by MPG still use the default single post template created in Elementor and not the layout of the assigned page. Can you please point me in the right direction here? Why may this be happening?

    Hi @nadya-well,

    Thank you for using MPG!

It is possible to create and edit with Elementor the page to be used as the MPG project template and add the MPG shortcodes in the Elementor editor – those will be replaced with content from the source file. Here is the documentation on how to do it.

Please note that is important to use as the template in the MPG project, the same post type as it’s generated. For example, if you generate pages, the template of the MPG project should be a page (it can be edited with Elementor); for generating posts, the template of the MPG project should be a post, which can also be edited with Elementor.

In case it still doesn’t work, would it be possible to share two screenshots, one while editing the template and one with a generated page/post?

    Regards,
    Stefan
