Elementor Slider stopped working, can’t add a new photo

Elementor Slider stopped working- I can’t add a new photo. I can add a new “featured image” in the “settings” panel but the page doesn’t update. Just started happening. Everything was working fine and now its blank and no adjustments can be made.

I also tried duplicating the slider and working on that one and the same issue is happening.

I also tried duplicating the homepage and then added a new slider thinking if I started with a new slider maybe it would work. But exactly the same issue is occurring.

Seems like the plugin has just “gone south” on its own.

that shows a food pic in the featured image but the slide hasn’t updated in draft mode or live.
