Elementor Shows Loading Page….nothing

  • I installed Elementor Page Builder and Elementor Add-ons with the latest updates to my local development environment using XAMPP on Windows 10. When I try to edit AE GLOBAL TEMPLATES, by clicking ADD NEW, I get the Elementor Loading screen and nothing else happens.

    In the console of my browser window, I am getting a 500 error and several js errors that indicate that jquery migrate is loaded (by Elementor) but the methods called on jquery do not exist. Problems appear to be in frontend.js (part of Elementor).

    Any ideas?

    What theme are you using?

    I am running the “same” install, XAMPP on Win 10, latest EL and EL Add-ons, and all works as expected. However, I am using the GeneratePress theme.
