Hi, when I activate Elementor with the theme Newscrunch, a lot of the icons stop working, such as social icons etc. How do I fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Please try these methods and tell us if they helped:
Regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard.

Go to Elementor > Settings on your WordPress dashboard, then Click the Advanced tab and then switch the CSS print method to Internal embedding.

Clear all cache: your browser’s cache, other plugins’ cache, server cache (if possible).

To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor) and see if it helps. If it solves the issue, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WordPress theme and see if it makes any difference.

Switch the CSS print method back after following these steps, regardless if it helped or not.

Hope those steps will help you, they go over the most common culprits for issues like yours.

    Kind regards,

Thanks for the quick reply. I have done the above but it still stays the same. What else can I try?

The site is https://sites.appeh.com .. The first image is without Elementor, and the second image is with Elementor activated.

    Hi

I am sharing two methods that you can try.

    Method #1

Can you please disable these features and see if that works for you? Note that after disabling these features, you would need to Regenerate Files & Data under Elementor > Tools > Regenerate Files & Data.

Go to Elementor > Settings > Features > disable the following

    Inline Font Icons
    Improved Asset Loading
    Improved CSS Loading

If one or more of these features are disabled already then you can enable those.

Always make sure to clear any cache on the site if you have a caching plugin or if there is any server cache and check on incognito mode of different browsers.

    Method #2

Go to Elementor > Settings > Advanced and enable (set to Yes) > Load Font Awesome 4 Support. Save the changed and the Font Awesome icons may start working

I hope these steps help resolve the issue.
