I recently updated Elementor Pro Plugin to version 3.3.7.
And straight after that I couldn’t edit anything within Elementor Pro, the edit section in Elementor Pro that normally appears on the left side, went completely blank.
I went through all my installed plugins and found that when I disable SiteGround Security Version 1.1.2,
Elementor Pro starts working and I can edit my web pages again.
Just thought I would let you know and hopefully you guys may find a solution to this as SiteGround Security Version 1.1.2 is a great plugin.
    Kind Regards,
    Andy

    Hey there @andy005,

We make sure that SiteGround Security is tested with the most-used plugins and Elementor is definitely on the test list.

No issues were found with the latest release and everything should be working as expected.

If the issue is related to an Elementor addon plugin, please start a thread with them.

If you still have issues, please provide additional details on how to reproduce the issue as well as a site URL, so we can investigate the issue in detail.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

This sounds exactly like the issue I’m having with Divi. Visual editor is un-usable but if I disable SiteGround Security, all returns to normal. I have a separate topic open for my issue, but wanted to let the original poster here know their not alone.

I see exactly the same problem and see it on several sites. Elementor pro breaks when SG Security is enabled. Elementor reports an issue when attempting to edit a page and suggests Safe Mode, which works. Then disabling SG Security and disabling safe mode, and all good.

We also run WordFence on all our sites and I wondered if the two plugins together may cause an issue but I haven’t tested this.

    Hey there @garybrindley and @schwindt14,

Please start a new topic with details on how to replicate the issue as well as site URL so we can further investigate the cases and locate the exact reason for the issues you are experiencing.

    Hi there,

I have had the same problem, but I have found that you do not need to disable the whole plugin. If you go to the SG Security settings and uncheck ‘Hide WordPress Version’ then you will be able to edit with Elementor Pro.

I have been unchecking it whilst I edit it and then rechecking it afterwards.

@sg Security, if there is a fix for this please let me know.

    Hope this helps.
