Elementor Pro Posts Widget

  • Hi,

    I can see it looks like this plugin is no longer supported but I’m hoping someone could still help please!

    I’ve installed it on my site and it does still work for me on the standard WordPress posts page, however it doesn’t work in my Elementor Pro Posts Widget I have. The Posts Widget just shows a still picture of the video rather than being able to play the video itself. Does anyone know how to make this work please?

  • I’ve been using this plugin for years here https://cameresiaccio.org. At the moment, it still works, I am using it only to auto-generate a static feature image from the video URL that I display on the archive. With elementor pro, i’ve done a single-post design with a big player. It works for this project.

    For new websites, there is no need to use this plugin, you can easily find many solutions (embed, popup, single-post…) with CPT-UI and ACF. Here is a recent example using popups: https://ibizacinefest2021.com

    Thank. I’ve tried a couple of methods using ACF but I can’t get it to work as well as this plugin appears to do! I’ll give it another go.
