    Hi there,

I’m not seeing any issues that should entirely break your website based on the errors you’re seeing.

Can you describe in more detail what happens to the site when you active Elementor Pro? Does Pie Calendar stop working, or does Elementor Pro stop working?

Also, can you please check on the front-end for console errors in your browser? Do this on the page that has the [piecal] shortcode present.

Any additional info you can provide will be massively helpful to get this fixed for you.

    Thanks!

    Wanted to chime in here.

I did get access to an Elementor Pro install, but it was running an older version. I encountered no issues there.

The warnings you shared seem to indicate one of the queried posts is missing its start date, which normally shouldn’t be possible: the meta query only returns posts where this value is set. Are you using the piecal_event_query_args filter to alter the query perhaps?

More info as Jonathan requested above would be super helpful so we can figure out what’s happening here.

    So
    Finding issues.

All plugins are switch off, exept pie calendar

    I can see warnings

Warning: Undefined array key 0 in /data01/virt93769/domeenid/www.travelhit.ee/htdocs/ww/wp-content/plugins/pie-calendar/includes/shortcode.php on line 57

Warning: Undefined array key 0 in /data01/virt93769/domeenid/www.travelhit.ee/htdocs/ww/wp-content/plugins/pie-calendar/includes/shortcode.php on line 68

but CALENDER works and shows all necessary data

i start to switch on all plugins, and when elementor pro is activated, calender stop working. More precisely, I don’t see the calendar itself with numbers and days, but I see a field for switching the type of calendar – month – week, etc.

    you can see it here

Thanks for the link and additional info. I am seeing tons of console errors in my browser which is typically related to caching plugins moving or minifying the JavaScript.

Does your web host have aggressive caching in place, or are you using a caching/performance plugin? If so, can you please disable any & all performance optimizations and try to load that page again.

Also, please ensure there is only one [piecal] shortcode present on the page. We currently only support one instance of [piecal] per page.

The warnings you’re seeing on the page are likely because wp_debug is enabled. Those errors can be safely ignored or will be resolved once we get the calendar loading / JS issues resolves.

    Plugin Author Spellhammer

    (@spellhammer)

As Jonathan said it could be a cache/minification issue, but if only enabling Elementor Pro triggers it, it’s a bit confusing.

The main JS error which probably causes all of the others in the console is because some weird HTML is getting injected into the Pie Calendar handler for closing the popover with the escape key:

    window.addEventListener('keydown', (e) => {
    if( e.keyCode == 27 <font color=#D9D9D9><font color=#D9D9D9>|</font></font><font color=#D9D9D9><font color=#D9D9D9>|</font></font> e.key == 'Escape' ) Alpine.store('calendarEngine').showPopover = false;
    })

Because this is invalid JS, it breaks everything else after it. Do you have any idea where these <font> entities are coming from? I can’t imagine why they’d be injected here, or why Elementor Pro would be using a deprecated HTML tag like this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/font.

Hopefully this provides some clues as to some setting, modification, or add-on that might be present which causes Elementor Pro to inject these tags where it shouldn’t. Let us know what you find.

Also, it’s not clear if you were able to reproduce the breakage with ONLY Pie Calendar, Elementor, and Elementor Pro active? If the issue doesn’t occur with only those three plugins active, it could be caused by an add-on or other plugin that’s interacting with the markup generated by Elementor Pro.

    So

I found the plugin what made changes in the code

    i can see now calendar

But warnings messages are still there

Warning: Undefined array key 0 in /data01/virt93769/domeenid/www.travelhit.ee/htdocs/ww/wp-content/plugins/pie-calendar/includes/shortcode.php on line 57

    Warning: Undefined array key 0 in?/data01/virt93769/domeenid/www.travelhit.ee/htdocs/ww/wp-content/plugins/pie-calendar/includes/shortcode.php?on line?68

    wp_debug is disabled

second question, how can i put two or three dates to one post?

    Plugin Author Jonathan Jernigan

    (@apexws)

Great! Glad to hear that. Which plugin was the culprit?

It will be helpful for us to keep track of that in case we run into this again.

    >>But warnings messages are still there

My next guess might be that in your php.ini file (or possibly in wp_config.php) that display_errors is enabled. You would check that via your web host file manager and remove that line if it’s present inside the file.

    >>second question, how can i put two or three dates to one post?

This is possible inside our Pro version via advanced recurring rules. You can add as many recurrence rules, single dates, or blackout dates as you want.

In the free version, it’s only possible to set one date per post.

    Thread Starter astral4ik

    (@astral4ik)

    great.

    i will buy pro version.

Plugin what causes error was TEXT REPLACE – where was rule to change “|” symbol

    Plugin Author Jonathan Jernigan

    (@apexws)

    Great! Thanks so much

    Thread Starter astral4ik

    (@astral4ik)

    Hello
I had one more question before purchasing the PRO version.
I looked at the instructions and video tutorials, and saw that i can add an entry to the calendar only as a recurring event. What if my event repeats randomly – for example, on August 1, August 3 and August 15. Is it possible to specify three different dates in a post entry?

    Plugin Author Jonathan Jernigan

    (@apexws)

Yes, this is possible with Advanced Recurring Rules in Pro v1.3.

There are 3 types of recurring rules, and you can add as many as you want per event:

-Recurrence rule (such as repeat every 2 weeks)
-Single recurrence (pick a single day for the event to repeat on)
-Blackout date or range (Pick a single day or a range of dates your event will NOT repeat on)

    Here’s a screenshot:

The events will repeat on those dates according to your rules. Please note you cannot set more than one time per rule. The event time is set for all events from the “Start Date/Time” dialog window.

    Hope this helps!
