    Hello,

    I’m having trouble keeping the permalinks generated with Permalink Manager when I save it with the visual editor Elementor. For example: The original slug is “/ demo / demo1” and I modify it so that it is permalinks manager “demo1 /”, once saved with Elementor returns to / demo / demo1;

    This does not happen when saved from the dfe page / WordPress entry editor, only with Elementor.

    Any solution.
    Thank you

    Hi @wordthem,

    this issue were present in the older versions of plugin. The URI was reset, because “wp_insert_post” hook is triggered not only when the post/page is created or inserted, but also when the post/page is updated or saved. In 2.0.3 version, I added a new condition to stop the function (it uses the default URI for new post/page) if custom URI is already set-up.

    I tried to reproduce it with 2.0.3 version, but the custom URI were not reset after I saved the post/page in Elementor visual editor. Could you confirm that you are using the most recent version of Permalink Manager?

    Hello Maciej Bis, sorry for my english.

    I’m working with version 2.0.3 of permalink manager. I keep doing tests, but saving with elemental deletes the structure and returns to its initial configuration. Should I select some parameter/condition in configuration?

    Hi again @wordthem,

    I double-checked the issue and did some additional experiments and realized that when post/page is saved with Elementor, WordPress triggers “wp_insert_post” hook not for original post/page, but for its revision. That is why the conditions were ignored and the function used to generate the default URI for new post/page was triggered while it should not.

    Please remove the plugin and reinstall its fresh copy. Sorry for all the inconvenience!

    Best Regards,
    Maciej

    I do not understand very well what steps I have to follow now when you indicate “Please remove the plugin and reinstall its fresh copy”.
