• I have installed Phlox theme. When I activate phlox core elements plugin, the Elementor does not load and shows safe mode option at the right bottom.
However, if I deactivate phlox core plugin, then Elementor works fine.

I have also submitted the ticket on phlox support but the issue is not resolved.

Any help would be really appreciated.

  • I am having the same problem with Phlox (free version) ever since updating to WP 6.0. I am able to create and save a new post, but when I go back to edit it after saving, Elementor will not load and goes in to safe mode. The temporary fix is to disable Phlox Core Elements plugin. Then Elementor will load and I am able to edit. Once I complete the editing, the Phlox Core Element is re-enabled. It’s an inconvenient work-around and should not have to be done if Phlox was working correctly with WP 6.0.

This is happening for me as well. The elementor editor does not load for pages, posts, or portfolios. There aren’t any errors thrown to the log so it’s difficult to troubleshoot.

    Hi Allynbeyh,
My issue has been resolved since I downloaded their updated theme. They have updated their theme this month.

I have the free version of the Phlox theme and its the latest version (2.9.19). Is that the version you have?

I also have the free version of Phlox v2.9.19. Still can’t edit with Elementor without disabling Phlox Core Elements. Ugh!

I also have the latest version (2.9.19) free theme.
Kindly check your PHP configuration according to Phlox theme. If the issue does not resolve, then you can contact their customer support on Phlox website. They usually respond immediately.

I am having the same issue but with Elementor Pro. I have the latest versions of all plugins and Phlox theme and plugin. The problem is clearly with the Phlox core elements being incompatible with the Elementor Pro!
btw, the memory limit was 1280, and increased it to 2560 MB! There are no issues related to the server. It is their plugin.

I checked my server settings as well and tried all of the troubleshooting recommendations. If I disable the phlox core elements plugin then the editor works. Unfortunately the theme relies on that plugin. I reached out to support and this is what they told me…

Thanks for choosing Phlox and contacting us,
About the issue, please contact your hosting to check your server requirements according to the following article. Especially increase the memory limit up to 512M and check your site again.
    https://docs.phlox.pro/article/216-server-requirements
Also, please take a look at the following article. It will help.
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/184-cant-edit-with-elementor
    Stay safe!

I responded to support and let them know I’ve already tried those recommendations but the email response keeps bouncing back. Perhaps I will submit a new request or try responding through their portal.

I gave support a test environment and login a week ago and they said they were going to have their devs take a look. I just upgraded wordpress, elementor and the phlox theme as new versions came out. With the latest upgrades the editor is working again.

Did anyone resolve this? I am also having the same issue using Elementor Pro which is a real bummer considering Phlox is supposed to be so compatible with elementor. I seem to have nothing but issues with this theme.. I am using Phlox pro as well. I checked my server settings and had my troubleshooted the issue with my host. The issue is the plugin for sure. I submitted a troubleshooting ticket 2 days ago and no response yet.

    Ahhh… still! it’s been a long time.

But this issue isn’t fixed yet!! Seems like the theme isn’t fully compitable with the elementor.

I just checked and the editor is loading fine for me. I have the free version of Phlox V 2.11.0, Phlox Core Elements V 2.11.0 and Elementor Pro V 3.8.2. I haven’t upgraded the Elementor Pro license yet so the version is a little behind.

    @allynbeth what’s your elementor version?

    UPDATE

It’s working fine for me now. The issue isn’t appearing anymore. I’m using the latest Phlox (free) theme, Elementor & Elementor pro.
If the issue still persists for you in the latest version too, you can check if the .htaccess file is okay in your file location (you can use the default one too)
