I have a website build with Elementor and WooCommerce. I have the mini cart widget, it’s set to automatically pop up after addition to cart.

However, when this plugin is on, the mini cart pops up again after going to the cart page and pops up again on the checkout page which should happen, and doesn’t happen with that plugin off.

This is a good plugin, but unfortunately until it’s fixed I will have go back to another plugin.

    Hi @wtpleo ,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Can you please give us a link to that mini popup plugin, and we will check it?

    Regards,
    Bruce

Hi @ninjateamwp , thanks for the reply.

The mini cart pop up that I was talking is not another 3rd party plugin, it’s the native Elementor Pro “cart menu” widget that I use.

    Here are the settings:
    https://prnt.sc/DmtsNnZwgd-8

    https://prnt.sc/9pcPTPY1xyUe

Also, in my original support thread I wrote “should” instead of “shouldn’t” by mistake, so the correct message is:

“However, when this plugin is on (yaypricing), the mini cart pops up again after going to the cart page and pops up again on the checkout page which shouldn’t happen, and doesn’t happen with that plugin off (yaypricing).”

    Hello @wtpleo

    Good morning!

Thank you so much for your patience.

We have tried replicating the issue on our end but we could not find the issue as reported.

Could you please reproduce the issue and give us the video of this? So we can check it easily and efficiently.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Best regards,

    Mia

    Hello @wtpleo,

    Good day!

Hope you are doing well and healthy.

We have double checked it again and found that the mini cart popup when customer gets a free item auto added to the cart.

This causes because we add the free item, then WC triggers the new item added hook, FYI.

Hi, thank you for checking this. So you managed to replicate that issue? The cart popping up on the checkout page is just not normal. Other BOGO plugins don’t do it (rightfully).

It pops up once when adding a product to cart, it shouldn’t pop up again on the checkout page, that’s why you have the order summary there. Why would you want the customer to interact with the shopping cart when he’s on the checkout page? It messes up the whole customer journey.

Let me know if you still need the screen recording.

    Thanks

    Thanks @alina98

If I install that version and the bug will be gone (still haven’t tested), will the bug come back after I update it through the WordPress repository?

    (@alina98)

    Hi @wtpleo ,

Once you install and use that to confirm the bug is gone, then you don’t have to update via WordPress for now, until we push out a new general update.

    Regards.
