    Hello,

    on which site of the plugin am I able to find the google maps snippet? Because your widget shows a google map using google fonts linked to google:

    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:300,400,500,700|Google+Sans:400,500,700|Google+Sans+Text:400&lang=de">
    and
    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Google+Sans+Text:400&text=%E2%86%90%E2%86%92%E2%86%91%E2%86%93&lang=de">

    And nowadays in my country it’s illegal to have this connection, so I’m trying to delete those two lines. Is this even possible? Otherweise I probably need to delete the maps widget as it is off my sites…

    I even tried this snippet:
    add_filter( 'elementor/frontend/print_google_fonts', '__return_false' );

    But it’s still there. That’s enough for getting problems with law. ??

    Are you able to help me maybe to somehow find out how to delete those two lines? Thank you.

  • Hi, could you please send us the URL of this page?

    Please also note that our default fonts are Google fonts

    Hi @prool

    There is currently an active feature request for something like this.
    Hopefully the developers will give it attention. it looks like there was some recent activity on it. ??

    I also found this plugin which claims to strip Google Font scripts and replace it with a GDPR friendly alternative. It looks to be compatible with Elementor too.

    Here’s a tutorial on how to download and add local fonts to Elementor which whil also get around this issue.

    Hope this helped!
