The problem I have is the Elementor left hand panel on any page is greyed out with the spinning ‘loading’ icon, which never loads, so I’m unable to create/amend any page on my site. I think this is due to a bigger problem though…

“Elementor Addons & Templates – Sizzify Lite” is a plugin that hasn’t been updated for a quite a while and is no longer supported by the developer (I missed the fact it wasn’t being updated, (lesson learnt!)).

Since the last(?) WordPress update the three pages using a Elementor widget from that plugin caused those pages to crash, so I’ve deleted those pages with the intention to recreate them with other options.

If I try to uninstall the Sizzify plugin my site will white screen crash and I have to do a restore of a backup to get the website up again.

I think the Elementor issue is related to the Sizzify plugin, but I’m now stuck on how to fix it?

  • Hi,

Did you try to deactivate the “Elementor Addons & Templates – Sizzify Lite” plugin?
If you did, does the issue persist then?

Sizzify Lite plugin now deactivated. Website is still up but the problem with the greyed out left hand panel still persists, unfortunately…

    Hi,

To troubleshoot this issue, follow these instructions:

Examine Elementor’s system requirements and make sure your website is answering at least the minimum requirements.

Contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase your WordPress memory limit to at least 256MB. If you are using additional plugins on your site that also have minimum requirements such as WooCommerce or Yoast, you might need to increase your memory to 512MB to help avoid loading issues.

If the issue persists, to rule out a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor) and see if it helps. If it solves the issue, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) and see if it makes any difference.

Thank you for the advice, I took the plunge and disabled all the plugin’s turning them back on one by one. For your records it was “PopBox For Elementor”, another old plugin I didn’t realise was dead, that was stopping Elementor from loading.

    Hi,

I’m glad that it works now ??

Elementor displays all the widgets including default WP and third-party widgets. They are separated by section Headings in the widget area.

However, we can provide support only for those that we create, we are not aware of the third-party widgets code and functionality.

I’m sorry to hear that it doesn’t work, but this is for sure a good question to the plugin’s support team. So please consider writing to them.
