    Hi guys,

    I need your help with a very strange thing.

    I build a multilanguage site with wordpress and elementor, an author can create they own content with elementor, the user can use elementor with 5 different languages. WordPress default language is italian, if an user with different language log in the interface of elementor follow the wordpress setting, so for example if a french user log in and open elementor the interface is in french, but if a user with english (en-GB or en-US) language try to use elementor the interface is in italian.

    The language file exists in the right directory (elementor-en_GB.mo elementor-en_GB.po, elementor-en_US.mo, elementor-en_US.po);
    In system setting I can see the follow:

    == WordPress Environment ==
    Version: 4.9.5
    Site URL: https://localhost:8888
    Home URL: https://localhost:8888
    WP Multisite: No
    Max Upload Size: 32 MB
    Memory limit: 40M
    Permalink Structure: /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
    Language: en-GB
    Timezone: Europe/Rome
    Debug Mode: Inactive

    Do you have any idea?

  • The language is regardless of the logged in user. Try to change the language of your WordPress

    I got this problem again when de-activating and re-activating plugins.

    For me when opening up a Swedish page Elementor editor was in Swedish and when opening up an English page Elementor editor was in English.

    I want the elementor editor always to be in English

    I just fixed myself following this

    https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/setting-the-wordpress-administration-language/

    I use WPML.

    I had to change language in User profile in WordPress to my local language and save and then change to english.

    Also I clicked/chose:
    Set admin language as editing language.
    in User Profile WPML options
