Elementor is deleted after update and can′t be re-installed

    I tried to update Elementor, but result is Elementor is deleted. All pages/blog lost the design created with Elementor.

    I tried to reinstall Elementor, but always “failed”: “Installation fehlgeschlagen: Der Zielordner existiert bereits.”

    Any ideas how to solve the problem?

    That is strange!
    Can you still see the Elementor plugin in the plugins section of WordPress?
    I suppose something went wrong while updating, the update could probably not finish correctly.

    What could help is go to your file manager in cPanel at your host and upload a fresh installation of Elementor in the wp-content/plugins folder.

    If you have a backup (which you always should take before updating plugins etc.) you could revert to a previous backup, before this happened.

    Hope this sets you on the right track!
