    Hi,

I don’t understand Elementor integration. If the checkbox is checked, what is it supposed to do ? Why can I see an Elementor statistic cookie placed in the shortcode in the privacy policy, but I can’t see it in next to the URL (clic on the padlock). This website is supposed to have only functional cookies, so the complianZ button doesn’t show. But Statistic is marketing cookie right ?

    I am lost…

    Regards

    Hi @sybilrondeau,

The Elementor integration is necessary for Complianz to block/unblock content on Elementor-based websites.

That elementor cookie is actually LocalStorage, which I expect to be the reason why it doesn’t appear when clicking the padlock. You can see that it is placed when you visit your website, open the browser Developer Tools, navigate to the Application tab and click your domain under Local Storage. Screenshot below:

Let me know if you have any further questions about this.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Ok, interesting, thank you !

So I guess I don’t need a consent banner for an Elementor website with only functional cookies, just for using Elementor itself. Am I right ?

Even though Elementor seems not to be fully compliant with GDPR : in cookie database they say about it : “Data is processed in countries without a suitable level of data protection”. What do you think ?

@sybilrondeau There currently is a bug in the data passport in cookiedatabase. I will alert the developers. Only the first info bar is correct: “Does This Vendor Collect Or Receive Your Personal Or Sensitive Data?” => No.

Because Elementor is not a second or third party the other 3 information bars should normally be hidden.
