Elementor Image Gallery – Images Too Big!

    Hi,

    I’ve created a few pages where I’ve added an ‘Image Gallery’. Everything was looking good but since the plugin update a few days ago I’ve revisited the pages and I now have two problems (plugin update might be a coincidence?):

    1. The images I’ve added in each gallery are now incorrectly sized, they are too big and ‘grainy’ and are not showing at either their full size (which I what I have selected in the gallery controls) or indeed at thumbnail size. It is particularly noticeable with the first image in the row.

    2. The other issue is the hover-over effect, it’s meant to be neatly arranged with formated text and an approx. 80% opaque black (Hex 000000CC) overlay to the text. Now the text is unformatted and the overlay is opaque white.

    Here’s some further info.:

    I’ve not changed the theme and its up-to-date
    I re-added the images just in case that was an issue
    I did add and subsequently, remove an optimisation plugin – no other images affected and no other ELEMENTOR pages with images i.e. EA ‘Filterable Gallery’ affected

    Any help would be much appreciated ??

  • Could you try clearing your cache or looking in a different browser (incognito is a good choice)? I don’t see the issues you are describing on the page. It looks the way you say you want it to look.

    Hi, thanks for your reply cavalierlife. I’ve solved the issue which is why you are seeing it looking as it should ??

    Through a process of elimination, I saw that JetPack had hijacked the images, I took JetPack off and put it back on ad all was good.
