Elementor hanging due to plugin

  • Hi, I installed the Extensions for Elementor plugin as it is recommended with an Envato Template we are going to use to redesign our existing site.

    When I attempt to build a simple page in Elementor wordpress hangs & locks up my browser.

    Our hosting support tell me that the Extensions For Elementor plugin is throwing this fatal error:


    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /www/wp-content/plugins/extensions-for-elementor/modules/import-templates/widgets/ee-import-templates.php:843

    If we deactivate the plugin then Elementor works fine.

    does anyone know what might be wrong here?
