    Hi,
Does your form database plugin support Elementor:
    https://docs.feibisi.com/projects/elementor/article/92-forms.html

Note that in the video on the above page at the minute 10:35, Elementor directs people to use a form database that no longer exists.

You seem to support every other form under the sun, so I am hopin you can support Elementor. If you do, then you might want to reach out to them and let them know since they seem to be lacking a solution on this is a large install base.

Can you confirm if you do support Elementor? If no, any suggestions on who might?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

Elementor Pro does natively support the cf7db plugin (the one that you mention) because it registers a save action inside the cf7db plugin. Unfortunately this is not the case with our contactic plugin for the moment. We will contact the Elementor team to see how we can interface our plugins so that Elementor natively supports contactic too.

In your case, an alternative and immediate solution would be to create a “shortcode” element in the post/page that contains you elementor form, and add following shortcode:

    [cfdb-save-form-post]

This will capture submitted POST data in Contactic.

Hi, that is good to know. Can you provide more guidance about how to use your plugin with Elementor? I am happy to be your guinea pig.

    Thanks!

    Hi Mike,

fyi, we sent a message to Elementor Forms in order to ask them to add our plugin in their code (as they did with the old plugin).

We don’t have a pro version so we can’t test it. But the only thing to do it’s to add the shortcode we gave you :

    [cfdb-save-form-post]

To see how to add this shortcode in your form you can watch this video :
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHOQ5Ge0l5E

After this, send a submission on your contact form and tell us if it appears in Contactic.

    Hello Mike,

I hope you got all the information needed to test our plugin.

Do not hesitate to ask us if you need more insights to help you.

    Regards.

    Hi Mike,

We had a response from Elementor Forms, they changed their running.
They work with an API, but it’s not how our plugin works with all the others contact form plugins.

Finally, the best solution is to use the shortcode:
    [cfdb-save-form-post]

So I consider this topic as solved!

    Regards.
