    Hi there,

I encountered a problem with the latest updates, namely, if PP Display Conditions are ON (which I use) the “Name field” of the Elementor form (subscribe) disappears in the footer.

I started with the standard deactivate-reactivate-all-plugin procedure and when PP was deactivated, the problem disappeared. I tried to investigate further and when switched on and off the “Display Conditions” option, it showed the bug (you can see in the screencast video).

BTW. it used to be fine (after an update some time end of last year), no issue previously, and unfortunately I can’t switch off this option, either, since the site uses it (as you can see in the header menu, which has conditions for logged-in users or visitors).

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Have a great day.
    Gabe

I just realized I’ve already had an email conversation (Nov 26-27, 2020 with Nirbhay Rao) saying “Hi Gabe, Thank you for getting in touch with us and sharing the issue.
We were able to reproduce it locally and are looking into it.”

  • Hi @geekayhu

Thank you for getting in touch with us and sharing the details. I will be happy to help you.

I understand the issue that you are facing but this is not an issue of PowerPack. Our Display Conditions are made using repeater fields and repeater fields create issues with Elementor Forms when they are added to the widget’s hook. You can check the issue on Elementor’s Github here where we have also addressed the issue on the ticket – https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/13117

As for a solution till it is fixed by Elementor, you can disable Display Condition in WP-admin > Elementor > PowerPack > Elements. This will display the Elementor input name field again in the Elementor form.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

thank you for your response. Then I guess we gotta wait. (The weird thing, though, that on the staging site it IS working with no flaw, I mean the “name field” of the form won’t disappear – Ghost in the machine :)).

    Anyway, thanks again
    Have a great day

I disabled it but errors are non ending miles and miles and miles
