    Hello,

I am using Elementor Essentials. Today I updated it to the last version. After the update, my website, that was loading at 1,4s (GTMetrix), is loading now at 9-11 seconds. On checking the GTMetrix waterfall, the website is bizarrely loading two times. When I deactivate Elementor Essentials, it will load only one time in GTMetrix, but obviously the website design becomes broken.

Please, could you check this and let me know what is the reason of the issue.

    Thank you

    Hi @itmonitor

Hope you are doing well. Though we don’t have anything in recent updates that might cause this, we’ll be happy to look deeper into this. It would be great if you could create a support ticket and leave your website URL so we can test and investigate the issue. Rest assured, we’re always focusing on website performance and keeping it as lite as possible to have a lesser impact on loading time. We’ll surely improve if we can detect any issue. Thanks for reporting this and your co-operation is highly appreciated.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi @itmonitor

Thanks for providing the URL. Initially, I have tested your site with GTMetrix and don’t see anything related to Essential Addons particularly. Since you are using a caching plugin and the files are coming as minified, it’s hard to investigate the issue here. It would be great if you get in touch with our support and provide a bit more information there. We’ll surely look deeper into this and find the issue.

Do not share any sensitive information here as it’s an open forum.

    Thanks!

    Hello Rupok,

sorry for delay in my reply. We passed Sunday reconfiguring our website to work without Elementor Essentials, as we had to get it ready for today, Monday.

The behaviour was like this: with the previous version of Essentials, it was loading at 2,7 and sometimes at 2,5 seconds. We always test the website load speed after plugin updates or new plugin installs. I tested it on GTMetrix and it was loading at 9-11 seconds. On analysing the GTMetrix waterfall (please download pdf here https://diigo.com/0hgbv5) we noticed the website was loading two times during one GTMetrix test. I never saw this before since years, but you can see it in the pdf file.

When I disabled Elementor Essentials, the side will load in 2,7s-4s, which is acceptable. We spent around 2 hours on Sunday resetting our CDN several times, realoading images in the hope the issue would be solved.

Finally, as we were in a rush, we decided to uninstall the Essentials plugin.

However, this could be some incompatibility with our CDN (Hostry and Sirv). We do not know as we had to rush and reconfigure the website and let it ready for today.

    Hope to have helped.
