    Hi,
great, great plugin – I’m using it with WP Widgets, SO Page builder, Elementor …
But, I found one (smallish) conflict when using it with Elementor – when on Elementor preview / editor page, there’s an error in Console:

Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error – js-map.min.js?ver=1.11.2:1

    The “js-map.min.js” is loaded from .. /wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/widgets/google-map/js/

It’s not appearing on frontend, and error doesn’t stop other JS execution, so it’s not big issue for me, but it might product errors in future (?) … Just something to check out …

    Best regards.

    Hi @anydog,

Sorry about this! There’s currently an error with the Google Maps widget where it won’t factor in the provided API key until the full Elementor editor is reloaded.

If js-map.min.js isn’t appearing on your website when viewing the page outside of the editor somethings up. Can you please link me to the page you’re working on so I can inspect the results?

    Hi,
    thanks for your reply Alex.

    I’m not sure I explained well …
The ERROR doesn’t appear on frontend – it appears only in Elementor editor – on pages where the SOWB Google Maps (or any SOWB widget) isn’t even added.

So – error only on Elementor editor, when no SOWB widget used.

Looks you might consider some conditional loading of assets for that widget …

    Hi anydog,

Sorry for the delay. We’ve looked into this issue and due to its temporary status (being that it’ll only occur until you refresh elementor), this issue has been given a very low priority. This means that it will eventually be fixed but we can’t provide any sort of ETA as we honestly don’t know when it will be fixed.

As mentioned above, to avoid this issue you need save the page after adding a SiteOrigin Google Maps widget with an API key, and then refresh the page. The Google Maps widget will work without issue at that point.

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved as the issue has been logged with us.
