    Hi,

I have issues with editing Elementor’s template and certain pages when Polylang Connect For Elementor is activated.
All the templates from Elementor pro aren’t loading (when trying to edit) and some pages from standard Elementor.
My website is translated from French to English and is also a woocommerce.
I have found an error in the explorer console when the editing page didn’t load :
TypeError: e is undefined and the details refer to a file : /wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/js/editor.min.js?ver=2.6.5:7
Can you help me with solving this issue ?

I also contacted Elementor with the same issue.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the late response. Are you running the latest versions of Elementor? Do you have Elementor Pro installed?

Is this also with the latest version of Polylang?

Could you try editing in incognito mode?

Have you had any response from Elementor?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.
Yes I have the latest version of Elementor (2.6.6) and Elementor Pro (2.6.0).
Yes, it is also the latest version of Polylang (2.6.2) and the version of Polylang connect for Elementor is 1.0.0.

In incognito mode every page that does not load are working, but the page isn’t clean because every other plugins are deactivated in that mode…

    The response of Elementor :

    Hi Perrine,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The ‘Polylang connect for Elementor’ is a third-party plugin.

You will need to contact the plugin author and inform them about this issue. They should be able to assist you fast with this issue.

Let me know in case you need any other help.

If I understand you correctly, your issue is that the Elementor Panel (Elementor Live Editor) is not loading for some Elementor templates, right?

Sadly, this can happen in some cases with our plugin – as we know from other user reports as well.
Problem: it happens only to a minority of users, and even not for all templates, only for some. We are not able to replicate this issue, therefore we cannot release a fix or anything yet. We are in contact with Polylang and Elementor teams but have no solution yet.

    The only workaround is:
Disable our plugin, do all the work on your templates, when finished activate our plugin again to make the loading of translated templates possible on the frontend.

As for the JavaScript error you mentioned in your first post:
our plugin does NOT load any JavaScript or even do something with JS. So this seems to be another conflict. It’s also common that some JS errors are displayed in Elementor Debug page but have no effect on the frontend at all…

Hello, thank you for your answer.
Yes I saw the problem on previous posts …
But everything worked for me. I updated each plugin with the latest version available (since I posted my question, there were some new ones) and now each page loads very well.
    Thanks again !

    Hi
I’m facing the same problem with elementor 2.6.7, elementor pro 2.6.2, polylang 2.6.2 and polylang connect 1.0.0. I had to unplug the 2 polylang plugins to edit with elementor.

DesActivating and Activating is a workaround that works for a website under development. If the website is online, it’s not possible.

Please try and rollback to Polylang 2.5.2 to see if that resolves the issue.
