Hi, @havidz.
I’m sorry you’re encountering a critical error on your site. Without inspecting the site directly it’s challenging to determine exactly what is causing the issue. However, the following troubleshooting steps can help:
- Review the PHP error logs, as they may help pinpoint the issue
- View the console tab using the browser’s inspect tools to look for errors
- Deactivate all plugins apart from Elementor to determine if the issue is due to a plugin conflict. If this helps, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit
- If this doesn’t work, switch your theme temporarily to a default WP theme, such as Twenty Nineteen, and see if that helps
- Make sure your WordPress site meets the basic requirements recommended for Elementor. You can check this in your WP Dashboard > Elementor > System Info. If needed, you can ask your hosting provider to make these changes for you: https://elementor.com/help/requirements/
- Check to see if the error only occurs when trying to access Elementor from the admin dashboard. In other words, does clicking on any other menu item result in a critical error?
If the above doesn’t help, please share any errors you may have noticed (in the browser’s console, etc.) in case we can help guide you further.
Kind Regards,
-
