    Hi,

Elementor does crash once you set document.domain=”your domain” in a page.

This is very bad as this is often used to allow Javascript access between a domin and its subdomain.
You get a bunch of Javascript errors from elementor once you do this.

Can you please fix this asap?

    Best regards,
    Michael

  • Hello,

I have the same problem when I insert document.domain=”your domain” on any header.php. I tried this on 3 different websites with Elementor pro installed. I deactivated all plugins except Elementor and I use hello theme. I can′t make a new template (Error 500).

    Hope you guys can help.

    Best regards,
    Timo

    Hi,

    Thank you for waiting.

Please note that as mentioned in the article bellow, using document.domain is currently not recommended as this is a deprecated feautre:

    Document.domain API

For this reason, we would not suggest using it with Elementor as this can cause a variety of issues on your site.

If you’d like, please test the document.domain call on a regular, blank WordPress site with Elementor turned off, let us know if this works and we will see if anything else can be done.

    Thank you.

    Gil
