    Hi there,

Is there more info about Elementor integration?
Just hopped on board at version 4.0 and want to migrate all my sites (65+) from yoast to seo framework. But first i am seeing if everything is compatible.

    Thanks
    Dieter

  • Hello, we have many users using a variety of page builders (well, of them). To my knowledge, we do not have currently any issue with any of them, including Elementor. I had a look at our GitHub, and it doesn’t look we ever had problems with it historically.

We generally just do everything “properly” when it comes to integration with WordPress core. If the page builder is adhering to rules too, everything just works together.

So to answer your question, you should be completely fine ツ
Maybe try migrating one website first, and see if it all clicks.
If you have any other questions about migration, let us know here.

    Cheers,

@webtica I have elementor pro on my website, with seo framework. No problems.
Also in Divi builder, wp bakery, and Beaver builder.

If you notice some problems check for plugin conflicts..

    Thanks guys.
Just migrated some sites and works good.
I noticed some issues with Polylang tho.

It only auto generates descriptions for the main language. Even if both page have the same content.

    Thanks

    Hi Dieter,

Are you using Polylang Pro’s “Share slugs” feature or the like? We couldn’t replicate that issue with the free version; so, any information regarding this issue is appreciated.

Also, inform yourself via the SEO Bar’s description indicator. When it’s not green, it may yield some information highlighting the cause.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sybre,

I am indeed using Polylang pro with following settings enabled:

-The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks
-Hide URL language information for default language
    -Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks
-The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id
-Share slugs is auto activated and greyed out so i cannot change that.

    Thanks

    Hi Dieter,

My apologies for leaving you in the dark.

I do not have access to Polylang Pro, so I can’t comment on whether Share Slugs might be an issue. But, if I can speculate on a pragmatic implementation, there’d be a point for concern in queries, where a non-existing or wrong page might be used for TSF’s generation. It’d be best to contact them regarding possible conflicts.

Nevertheless, if you have more information for us, like which pages are affected, that’d be most helpful. Nothing beats a manual inspection. If you’d rather keep those links confidential, contact us privately. Thank you!
