Elementor Choose image section grayed out

Hello everyone!
I’ve been using elementor since a long time. I was recently editing a new post when I noticed that the “choose image” button was all greyed out, preventing me from selecting any of my existing media or uploading anything new! If anyone could please shed some light on how I might resolve this problem.

Additionally, I don’t have Elementor Pro, so I can’t get assistance from them.

I’m hoping someone can assist me because I’ve been at this for hours trying various methods.
