I just discovered the plugin conflict between elementor and woocommerce. When I turn off wc, the test page displays the text and images well. But when w.c come back, all thing gone.

    Operating System:
    Linux
    Software:
    Apache
    MySQL version:
    5.6.38
    PHP Version:
    5.6.35
    PHP Max Input Vars:
    1000
    PHP Max Post Size:
    8M
    GD Installed:
    Yes
    Write Permissions:
    All right
    Elementor Library:
    Connected

    Hi,

Please read and take action according to these requirements:
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/38-requirements

These are mine and all works fine:

    Operating System:Linux
    Software: Apache
    MySQL version:5.5.5
    PHP Version:7.0.30
    PHP Max Input Vars:100000
    PHP Max Post Size:1024M

@logologics these are unacceptable high parameters for input vars and max post size. If you really need these in order to work with Elementor, either the plugin is written in the most terrible possible way or you are doing something completely wrong.

@khuutam I also experience problems with the latest version. The slider I’ve setup is meant to display 3 of the latest posts, but I’m getting more than 10, and are definitely not the latest :/

    @vladimir,

I did not say I, or anyone else needs those high vars.
Just said that those are my settings and all works perfectly.

    These are the official requirements:
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/38-requirements

It should at lease be this:
WP Memory limit of 64 MB or greater (128 MB or higher is preferred)

php version is too old in khuutam’s list.

Sharing these parameters like “this works for me” would mean “try it out if you have problems” to anyone who does not know what the parameters mean. I find it important to mention, that these high values might bring problems to the server/hosting account, that’s all.

Although I am not responsible for the actions or interpretations of someone else, you have a valid point. I actually use 1000 by default in most sites.

I can no longer edit my post, so I hereby declare:

“do not try this at home” ??
Just stick to the official requirements:
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/38-requirements

    Thanks for your input,
    Annie
