I just started experimenting with elementor in my web site that’s mostly chinese.

I set every default font style and family in elementor to noto-sans (a google san serif chinese font). The font in elementor during edit mode is indeed noto-sans. But when I view the page outside of wordpress admin, the font becomes noto-serif.

If you look at the web site, everything in the heading is noto-san font (all strokes are even width) as expected. The heading is made without elementor.
But the body text/headings in this test page are all noto-serif (horizontal strokes are thinner than vertical strokes, and some strokes have “dimples” at the end). Except the two characters in the title above “history”.

Not many people will have experience making web site with chinese characters. So I don’t expect alot of response. Is there a better place to ask this question?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
