I am a beginner to wordpress and new to this forum – I was told the wordpress community is very helpful and supportive so I wanted to reach out here about a problem I have been stuck on and preventing me from progressing further with my site

I am trying to create pages on my website (Astra theme, Elementor). When I create a new page I am presented with a page that has my header and footer (which is great) with the section in middle to drag/drop elementor blocks. However when I do this, any block is placing itself above my header, not in the main body of the page.

How can I fix this problem please? Is there some setting within my header that is causing this?
