Hi again, I am waiting a solution for this problem since two weeks and I’m almost getting an error message every day. I want to understand that why I am getting this error, why is elementor memory_limit=40M in system info and how can I solve this problem ?

    Hi @range34,

I assume the problem is at your host.

You can change memory limit all you want in php.ini etc, if you have a hosting package that sets the limit to 40, it will not change at all, because it is restricted.

Have you checked at your host if there is a limit to the amount of memory you can set=

    Thread Starter range34

    (@range34)

    Hi @logologics ,

    where can I check that?

    Hi @range34,

That depends on the host in question, where you can find this.
You might send in a support ticket at your host and ask them.

    (@range34)

    Hi again @logologics ,

I have asked to our host firm but they have said that no problem about host. we already use high level package.

    Hi (@range34,

Ah, I see you are talking about the Memory Limit, not the Max memory limit! That Memory limit 40 is ok, and your Max memory should do just fine as well.

You are on an older PHP version 7.4 though, you might want to switch that to 8.1 the most recent version. If you do not know how to do that, ask your host and make sure all the plugins, theme and WP core you are using, are up-to-date. Below you see my settings and all works fine.

    PHP Version:8.1.0
    PHP Memory Limit:2048M
    PHP Max Input Vars:1000P
    HP Max Post Size:1024M

    Max Upload Size:512 MB
    Memory limit:40M
    Max Memory limit:2048M

If that does not help, try disabling the W3 total cache plugin and see it that helps. I used it in the past, but had nothing but trouble with it, so that plugin is a no-go for me. As free plugin, I can recommend WP fastest cache.

    Thread Starter range34

    (@range34)

    Hi @logologics ,

the theme that we use it advises some plugins for caching : Cache Enabler / W3 Total Cache / WP Rocket / WP Fastest Cache. so I can consider your advice about WP fastest cache. and I will be observing the results.

Also I have reviewed your settings. thank you very much for sharing.

    Hi @range34 ,

You’re welcome, older PHP can certainly cause all sorts of strange behavior, so that would be first on my list to change to the most recent one 8.1.

Disable W3 total cache and clear all possible cache is very easy to do and see if that solves the problem.
    Good luck!
