I am seeing an error when navigating an accordion generated with Elementor. We get a short pause and then it navigates to /undefined which leads to a 404. This happens only with the speed bump addon enabled. The version of Elementor is 3.24.7 and Elementor Pro is 3.24.4 – I am not disclosing the domain so if you need further info please ask. Here is a portion of the Edge console leading up to the event.

If you would please fill out the form on this page and provide me with as much information as possible so I can troubleshoot this issue. Without being able to visit the domain and see the issue I am unsure in my ability to troubleshoot your problem.

Thanks for filling out the form. Upon inspection of the site that you supplied me with you have the Accordion Titles wrapped in an anchor tag that doesn’t have an href value and that is what is causing the issue with the plugin.

I will attempt to add a fix to the plugin to account for that not being present but it is wrong for the anchor tag to be missing the href=”” part entirely. My suggestion for now would be to add a # to the link field surrounding those accordion titles or if you can lose the link around the title entirely as it’s not functional anyways.

Please let me know if any of that needs a better explanation. I will get to work on recreating this issue on my dev site and working on a fix. It may be a week or two before I am able to get to this.

Thanks. We will see if we can find a way to work around it. I found some info where Elementor had issues with lighthouse validation on accordion and toggle widgets regarding the href and evidently removed them. I’m not sure if the accordion version is just old now and is not reflected in those changes or if we need to introduce some custom jquery or CSS. So far, I haven’t found a way to get it working.
