    Hi,

Thanks for this great plugin, must of taken your ages, loving the GUI!

I’m using elementor and a theme called viewtube.

Anyway, I have tried pretty much every which way to align the search box equally centre/horizontal so it appears balanced/responsive on all three devices, but for the life of me, I just can’t get it right?

Tried various containers, css, px, % and em sizes, I also attempted to get it to work with my theme search bar to no avail.

Any tips would be most welcomed ??

    Hi!

Thank you for your kind words!

Usually the best course of action is to place the plugin shortcode into an elementor shortcode (or HTML) container, and align that container element as per your needs. Leave the search width at 100%, so it will follow the width of that container.

This way search bar will automatically follow the container element as-is, and you get the highest possbile compatibility and it’s also future proof.

    All the best,
    Ernest

    Hi Ernest,

Thank you for the swift response, appreciated.

I think I tried that approach but the box remains ‘off centre’.

I also tried using a three column container, added shortcode to html and set container set 100%

Also set the box width in the plugin to 100%?

    Thanks ??

Yes – set the search box width to 100%, and change the width you need on the elementor container. On the container Elementor widget then you can set a custom width and alignment like so: https://i.imgur.com/hIJv4t4.png

That’s how I recommend doing it, as the search will only be contained in the actual item, which is aligned.

    All the best,
    Ernest
