• There seems to be a conflict between Sydney Theme and the latest Elementor Pro. Installing Elementor Pro version V3.8.0 is breaking my website when Sydney Theme is active, if I switch over to Twenty Twenty-One Theme the issue is resolved, if I switch back to Sydney Theme the issue returns.
Is anyone able to assist me with this?

    Hello,

    We couldn’t replicate your issue.

Is there a specific error message you’re seeing? Is your website breaking when you’re visiting a specific page?

    Hi

    Thanks for replying.

I am using the following versions:
    Wordpress Version 6.0.3
Sydney Theme Version 2.14 (active Sydney Child Theme)
    Elementor Version 3.8.0
    Elementor Pro Version 3.8.0

The issue can viewed at this url:
    https://dev.hostproud.com.au/

The issue is on page load, the browser tab appears to complete loading, however the page is never displayed, it infinitely displays the bouncing load icon.
The issue affects all frontend pages.

There are currently multiple plugins activated on the test installation at the above url, however I have tried switching off all other plugins except for Elementor and the issue persists. To resolve the issue, I need to either switch over to Twenty Twenty-One Theme from Sydney Theme, or rollback Elementor Pro to Version 3.7.7.

I appreciate your assistance, please let me know if you need anything further.

    Hi @hostproudwp,

We are unable to replicate the issue on our test environment running the same versions you mentioned. Since you mentioned switching all plugins off except for Elementor, the issue might be related to it.

Can you try regenerating your Elementor CSS & Data, and see if it would resolve the issue? This can be done by going to Elementor > Tools > General, and clicking the “Regenerate Files & Data” to update your site files according to the most recent settings.

If that doesn’t work, would suggest contacting Elementor support if you haven’t already.

Could you please try adding this to Customize > Additional CSS:

    .preloader {display:none!important;}
