• I have been editing posts using gutenberg and the toolbar has always appeared above the elements I am working with

    e.g.

    Gutenberg toolbar

BUT, I logged into the same site, on the same page, with the same login credentials ON a different computer and the toolbar is docked at the top of the screen under the post header section.

When it is docked up the top I have lost access to 2 important buttons that I use regularly and I don’t know how to fix it?

    e.g. See here:

    Gutenberg toolbar 2

When the toolbar is docked in the post header section, I lose the ability to select the containing element (column) and move the element

Its the same login to the same site on the same page but computer 2 doesn’t show these important features.

How can the toolbar dock on one PC and not the other and how do I configure it/change it? Or, how do I perform the 2 functions if the toolbar is docked (select containing element/move element)

If you go into the settings menu (the menu with the three vertical dots in the top right corner), there’s an option ‘Top toolbar’ that changes this.
