    Hi,

I wondered if deactivating elements in Element Manager does only affect sites performance in backend / edit or also on frontend?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

Elementor offers web creators a wide range of elements, allowing them enormous flexibility in web design. However, some creators may prefer to reduce the number of elements available in the Editor in order to speed up load times and reduce clutter.

Please note – If you disable elements that you used to build the site, they will no longer work and could even break your site.

Clicking?Deactivate Unused Elements?will deactivate?ALL?unused elements. Even if you have filtered the list of elements, the deactivation will apply to all elements, even if they are not part of your filtered list.

Full documentation about this you can find here – https://elementor.com/help/element-manager/

    Hope it helps

Will it speed up loading time when editing a page with elementor or will it also speed up the loading time of the site being visited?

    Hi

There will be some improvement in performance and PHP memory need will also be lower when disabling widgets from the Elements manager feature. The total site performance is based on a number of factors but the editor load time will definitely be quicker.
