Hello, good work right there. I have a question. I am using on my websites the <track> element which is not supported in mozzila. Does this work for <track> element? Also, if the browser already supports HTML5 and track element, does the script run? I am considered about my site speed if it has to load new script everytime. Thank you for answers

    Hi there,

Great question. To be honest, I doubt this would work with the <track> element, but it’s worth a try. I’d suggest trying it out and seeing if it works in non webkit browsers. If you find out, please let us all know.

To answer your second question, the plugin checks to see if your browser supports the placeholder attribute, and only executes the remaining script if it is not supported. Plus, the file (less than 3kb) is only loaded once, so you don’t have to worry about speed.
