  • IMHO ( Not an official answer ):
    The themes don’t use WordPress coding standards, are often not compatible with latest WordPress upgrades, are often not compatible with plugins, complaints of poor support, aggressive affiliate marketing techniques. Just speaking from someone who has had to provide a lot of support for those themes.

    Yes, I can confirm their lack of adequate support and difficulty getting the themes to conform to standards.
