Often what breaks sliders is jquery, or other scripts being loaded twice (or more!). To test for this, disable all your plugins. Be sure you have javascript enabled on your browser (you probably do if you see it working on the demo site).

You may have different version of jquery that breaks your slider. Make sure to check source and find how many jquery files embeded with versions. Then you can remove jquery file which is’nt associated with your slider.
