• Great. Straight forward. But I’m not a fan of plugins that build their own look and feel to the administrative interface. This one does that.

Also, some adblockers people use these days block it, depending on their settings. So be prepared to do some troubleshooting/

    Hey cmkly,

Sorry to hear that you didn’t like our administrative interface! Was there a particular aspect that you didn’t like? We try to vary from the default WordPress interface only when it helps the user experience so we would love any feedback on improving.

Also, which adblockers are blocking the feed content? We’d love to know as we do our best to work around them with updates. We haven’t had any reports of this since we changed how our feeds are loaded on the page and we began making local copies of images so it would be good to know if there is something else we can address.

Thanks for taking the time for a review!

Hi Craig. Thanks for following up on this. The client was using 1Blocker (https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/1blocker-for-safari/id1365531024) and tells me that there was some form of “Facebook tracker” in the instagram block on the site, which is: https://orchestrefranco.com/

I looked at the rendered source and couldn’t see anything but I’m no expert.

    No problem!

The feed on your website and the demo on smashballoon.com appear fine when using Safari and the ad blocker you linked to. I didn’t change any of the default settings for the blocker:

Is it possible that this occurred the first time you loaded the feed on a page? Currently new images are shown from Instagram’s CDN the first time they are displayed and then resized and stored locally for the next page load. I wonder if the images sourced from Instagram’s CDN caused them to be flagged.

You can always have the images resized in the background and a locally sourced image served if you enable background caching on the “Configure” tab. This should prevent the issue for all page loads regardless of what blockers are enabled.

Does that sound like it could have been the issue to you?

Yes. The circumstances of the reported problem certainly resemble what you describe. Do you happen to know if I can revise my rating. You deserve at least another star for the support.

I guess I’m not entirely sure. I know that it’s possible though. If you are able to do so it would be great!

I just left a review so I could see. You just need to go the “review” page and find the “Edit Review” link:

    Thanks again!
