Elasticache Doesn't Empty

The page cache doesn’t seem to empty. I’m using AWS elasticache and have 2 nodes. I believe the issue is the 2 nodes as on staging I use a single node cluster and page cache empties fine. So is there a way to empty all nodes in the cluster?
