Elara Theme – Header won’t appear, can’t get rid of top bar menu

    Working with the free Elara theme on www.remarpro.com.

    Few issues remaining:
    – Header image or site logo wont appear.
    – Theres a link to a post appearing on homepage, I have no posts at all, how do I remove this?
    – There is an additional menu appearing along the very top in a grey band, how do I remove it?

    I seen in the documentation that I can go to Appearance > Customise > General Settings so remove example content but no such ‘General Settings’ shows up for me here.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    1. If you would like logo image you need to navigate to Appearance → Customize → Site Identity and enable “Show Image Logo”. Then you can upload your logo. If you want to show header image please go to Appearance → Customize → Front Page → Banned / Slider and select “Banner” option. Then you can change your header image inside Appearance → Customize → Header Image section.

    2. To hide “hello world” post please go to Appearance → Customize → Front Page → Large / Highlight Post and disable “Show Large / Highlihgt Post”. Please see this screenshot as reference: https://prntscr.com/iomaz6

    3. To remove Top Left menu go to Appearance → Customize → Menus → Top Left section and click “Delete Menu” link.

    Thank you for reply. The issue was actually that I hadn’t installed the recommended plug-in for the additional customise options and so I wasn’t seeing any of the settings you just mentioned. All fixed now! Thanks!

    Hi,
    I just switched from KALE to ELARA and I have the same problem with the additional menu appearing along the very top in a grey band… how do I remove it?
    My only option in Appearance → Customize → Menus is create new menu and view location.
    Can you help me with that?

    Another question is: if I use the slider, can I do it without the text? Just titel?

    @siniplyrathemes ok I figured out that I can resolve the problem with moving around blank text widgets on that areas. resolved my problem!
