Either search or a convert feature for individual PNGs?

    When PNG to JPG works it works great! It doesn’t always work, especially when converting large quantities of PNGs on crusty old sites. And so I’m looking for a way to convert images on more of a one-on-one basis. Can you help with this?

    I’d like to be able to convert the most egregious PNGs (e.g. a 19 megabyte no-transparency monster someone uploaded to a client site.)

    There are 2000+ PNGs on this client’s site so paging through to find the really bad ones is time consuming.

    Request: Either a way to

    • Search for specific PNGs on the Sidebar -> Media -> PNG to JPG -> Convert existing PNGs page, or
    • Show a “convert to JPG” option on individual pages in the media library.

    Hello,

    thanks, that’s a good idea!

    I will probably add a convert button for individual images in Media library and also a column for filesize in Convert existing tab and allow to order by that…

    As soon as I will have some more free time I’ll take a look on it ??
