  • Hi @aoedigi

I tried a few search terms but could not have the Search Console generate one of those errors.

Could you tell us the steps to reproduce the issue and/or share a screenshot of the errors you see? We recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Additionally, please share the following:

    1. System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    2. Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

We’ll look forward to hearing from you.

    Hello Margaret,

I am not quite sure what you mean.

Across almost all of our clients WooCommerce webshops, we get the following error in Google Search Console:

“Either “offers”, “review”, or “aggregateRating” should be specified”

    See this image: https://imgur.com/a/WMFRRWH

There are no ‘steps’ to reproduce the issue. It is currently errored as shown in the screenshots.

So i want to know how i can change that, so that Google will not error my product listed in WooCommerce.

    Pastebin of system status: https://pastebin.com/Nis1bD74
Pastebin of Fatal Error Log: https://pastebin.com/Eq7Fu3je

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @aoedigi,

Thank you for detailing the issue.

These are not really issues within the WooCommerce plugin, but warnings that Google throws depending on the content found (or not found) on your website.

There has been quite a lengthy conversation about this, but it can be summed up here:

    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/22896#issuecomment-477074896

    I hope that helps.

    Hello Berg,

    Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t really help. I have read the conversation, but I have not found a solution to the problem.

If you say the issue is not within WooCommerce, I assume you refer the issue to the SEO tool (Rank Math)?

I do not understand how WooCommerce has not tailored the data to suit Google in relation to an issue like this (unless the issue is within the SEO tool and not WooCommerce), as I can figure im not the only person with the issue.

As you say “These are not really issues within the WooCommerce plugin, but warnings that Google throws depending on the content found (or not found) on your website.”, I need a solution on how to suit the content Google finds on our website to their algorithm.

As the errors are only related to WooCommerce URLS (product categories etc.), I therefore assume the issue is within WooCommerce and therefore need to correct something here.

    Howdy @aoedigi,

Here is how Yoast SEO suggests to solve this: https://yoast.com/help/aggregaterating-review-offer-required/

    Kind regards,
